How are dues in Seven Springs Homeowners Association used?
- Pay dues for membership in East Cobb Civic Association (an important partnership in zoning issues).
- Pay electric bills for lights on entrance sign.
- Pay property taxes on plot of land owned by the Association (near front sign).
- Pay for web site, office supplies and postage for neighborhood communications.
- Pay for plants, lightbulbs and other materials to cover basic maintenance for our SSHA entrances.
- Pay annual corporate registrations required by the state of Georgia.
- Pay annual tax preparation fees.
- Pay a fractional part of social activities for the subdivision.
- Occasionally pay for legal counsel in matters pertaining to zoning.
Why join?
- Consistently strong membership participation is the single most important factor in our Association’s ability to influence zoning and other matters affecting us all.
- Because we are a very small neighborhood, your involvement in the Association, as well as your dues, are very important.
- Receive police precinct crime reports, if you are on our email list.
- Consider the dues as a kind of insurance that helps protect the value of your home.
- Membership in the association is the best way to meet your neighbors, build friendship, and create a strong and safe neighborhood.
- Our dues are still very, very low for a homeowners’ group in East Cobb.
